Sponge Dauber Case Guide

Hi there,

A while back, I purchase sponge daubers and a case to hold them in.  Sponge daubers help to distress the edges of cards to give it a feeling of being "aged".  The 2 cases I purchased hold 40 sponge daubers each.  They are a clear hard plastic.  So that I know which dauber belongs to what ink, I created a guide to place on the inside of the lid.  I will put the guide on some patterned paper to make it look nice.  I am going to attach the document so that you can use it too!

Click HERE to download the guide!  It will download as an Excel document that you can print.  If you need to resize the columns, make sure they are at 8.57 (.90 inches) and the rows at 64.00 (.89 inches).  There are 8 columns, and 5 rows.  For every 2 columns, this showcases the "families" of inks from Close To My Heart.  There is room in the 2nd case to add other inks like Tim Holtz and other brands.  Let me know if you have any questions!

Craft on,
Ian

  3. Oh what fun! I would love to have one (or two) of those!!

I'm such a dork! Thanks for catching my mistake about the EK Success discount. I went back and read the fine print about three more times, and finally found where they said it was good on only one item...not NEARLY as good a sale as I originally thought. Oh well...I'll just hang out for the next great sale!

    1. Not a problem, PinkE! Happy to help. 7.99 is an amazing price! I think I paid about the same price (maybe a little more) for each of mine. I say GREAT buy! :)

  5. Ian, this is fantastic! I don't use sponge daubers so much, but instead I get the round sponge and cut it into 8 pieces. This would work perfect for storing my sponges as well. Where did you get the sponge dauber case? Thanks much for the info and the great chart!

    1. Thanks, Jan! So glad that it works for you and I think the sponges will fit in the case very nicely. I purchased mine from eBay. It was cheap and very fast shipment. I purchased mine at this link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/250878317187?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_3579wt_1141

  6. I have been trying and trying to locate a CTMH consultant and no one is really wanting to help me out. I have a cricut mini and have had for several years and never used. I thought this would be perfect. I want to get a publication mailed to me but no one wants to do that!! They tell me it is costly and I can see on line. I would really love to have a catalogue to decide what to purchase. I am glad I found your site Thank you!
