Running out of ideas?

Hi there,

I hope you are all well!  I'm officially on vacation for the next 6 days (started vacation today but was just lazy and didn't get any crafting done...I call it my downtime before the real craftiness starts!)  As most of you know, I am a Close To My Heart Independent Consultant.  I did a lot of research today and stumbled across a book that I just had to have.

If you are a card maker and are like me, sometimes you get stuck in a rut of designing cards.  Jeanette Lynton, founder and CEO of Close To My Heart has been publishing books for the past several years.  The book shown below is all about cards!  Originals:  Handcrafted Cards Made Easy offers 99 different card layouts for you to use!  Upon seeing this I HAD to order it.

I know that once I have this book, stuck in a rut I will be no longer!  Let me tell you some of the features this book has.  Besides having 99 different card layouts, it also has:
-A quick reference
-An index so you can see different cards with the same style
-128 pages in color
-Spiral bound

For less than $20, you can purchase this book!  Amazing deal!!  Click the link above to purchase.  If you happen to be an Amazon Prime member, you also get free 2 day shipping.  Tops!

I also stumbled across We R Memory Keeper's brad setter.  This little tool helps the crafter apply brads to the project without hurting our ever so important finger tips!

To apply a brad to your project, use the paper piercer side (it looks like a needle) and poke a hole in the paper.  Insert your brad into the hole and turn the paper over and place on a flat surface.  Slightly separate your brad and use the opposite end of the tool (looks like a pyramid) to push down the "wings" of the brad.  Doing this on a flat surface will create a beautifully placed brad flushed against the back of the cardstock.  Amazing!

I am actually purchasing both the brad setter and the Idea book together - and again get free shipping with Amazon Prime!  If you are interested in purchasing this handy tool - click the link below!

I'll be making some cards tomorrow and this weekend so hold tight for those posts to be coming soon!  I'm hoping to create a stock pile so that I can grab and go instead of make in a hurry right before they are due.  Keep your fingers crossed that I can find the motivation to do it!  :)

Craft on,
Ian
