As my birthday nears (tomorrow), I went ahead and "purchased myself a little pretty." This short shopping haul is brought to you in part by the letters A for Amazon.com, the letter B for book (Originals Card Confidence Program) and bright (the paper piercer/brad setter), and C for Chase Freedom, specifically so I could purchase these amazing products.
I always get a little sad around my birthday. I'm another year older and, to me, feel like I have nothing to show for it. Still single and trying to find "the one". I know that I am at a different place than where I was a year ago and that makes me smile. I'll continue to hold my head up high and count my blessings. Do any of you get sad around your birthday?
Anyway, I digress. So, celebrate with me and take a look at this short, but fun shopping haul. I have one last haul coming from Joann's which should be here at the end of the week. Sounds like a good time to me!
As always, stay tuned for more. I really need to get off this couch and craft! Get up off that thing, and dance till you feel better.
Ian

ReplyDeleteAbout 20 years ago my mother-in-law was in the hospital on her 50th birthday having open heart surgery. On a visit to see her she said something that has stayed with me ever since...
"If you consider the alternative you will gladly take your birthdays".
So enjoy your birthday and keep spoiling yourself with hauls.
Happy crafting.
